Cold winters, salted roads. A guess by the state that issued the title — where the car was driven, we do not know. Worth checking the underbody.
With the driver's door open — on the B-pillar (the post between the front and rear doors), by the door lock. Usually black or white, with “MFD BY” at the top. Next to it there is a yellow-and-white tyre pressure placard — that is another plate, not needed for registration.
A US car has no European certificate of conformity (CoC), so before registration in Lithuania it goes through a technical expertise (individual approval). It takes the date of manufacture and the permitted weights from this label. In Latvia, the CSDD asks for it too.
A replacement label can usually be ordered by VIN only through the make's US representative — the European ones have no access to that system. It takes time and delays registration. Copies from the internet will not do: they are not the manufacturer's.
We do not work out the cost and margin: Not to repair — too much damage. Both stand on the repair cost, which we do not work out for this car.
The review said not to repair the car, so we do not cost the repair: what the body and suspension work would cost, the photos cannot tell.
If the car were bought at this auction (2026-10-30). The dates are approximate: ship schedules and waiting at the port change them.
