Side impact to the right side: right sill crumpled with deep folds along its whole length (frames 3 and 4), both right doors and the front of the right rear quarter panel arch deformed. The sill on the Volvo S60 is a welded boron steel structural part — it cannot be straightened, and replacement with welding is not economical. In addition the dashboard (frame 9) shows SRS airbag, ABS, BRAKE and stability control symbols, so the side protection or seat belt pretensioners have probably triggered.
